M. Louise Foster-Wilson is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas.  She received a Masters in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University in 1997.  She has extensive experience as a Clinical Case manager in the EAP field and has been in private practice since 2000.  Her primary focus is on women's issues and encompasses sexual abuse, mood disorders, relationship counseling (marital, pre-marital, and family), stress, anger management, grief/loss, parenting, and ADD/ADHD.

 

Mrs. Foster-Wilson is board certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors, Inc. (NBCC), and is a member of the Texas Counseling Association.  She volunteers as a mentor at a local high school through the outreach ministry of her church.  She is married, has one son and two step children (a son and daughter).  Her favorite pastimes are crocheting, tennis, oil painting, and fishing.

 

The mission of Charis Counseling Center, is to establish a safe place that respects diversity and individual dignity while providing affordable, effective counseling in a friendly, nurturing atmosphere.  We provide specialized individual and group counseling services through the blending of professional psychotherapy and Christian principles to those who seek to address life's issues from a Christian perspective.
